Fried Chee Cheung Fun & Big Bao

I heard my uncle said there was stall in the Anson Rd market selling fried "chee cheung fun". I am a fan of "chee cheong fun". I love any kinds of "chee cheung fun" whether its the one with prawn paste or the Hong Kong version.

So i went to try out the "chee cheung fun". Actually you wouldnt missed this stall cos it had a huge banner that said " Tall Guy Fried Chee Cheung Fun" in chinese.
The "chee cheung fun" turn out not so special. The way they fried it was jus the same like frying "char koey teow". So it was eating "char koey teow". But still it tastes not bad. Other than selling this fried "chee cheung fun". They oso sell the " Ye Zhi Mei big boobs bao".
This "bao" was in the market years ago. It was slightly bigger than the normal big "bao".But i hardly see it in Penang...till recently. My grandma is a fan of big "bao". I told her i will buy for her this "Ye Zi Mei big bao" one day. Coincidently this stall oso sell this "bao" so i bought two. one for my grandma and one for myself. My grandma really likes this "bao". She took 3 meals to finish it. For me i don like the "bao". Why? Checkout the picture below:
Look at the amount of meat.... I couldn't even finish half of this. Each bite make me feel like i am an animal gobble up another animal's flesh.... If really finish up this i think i will wanna be a vegetarian after that. So i gave the other half to the maid. If you loves meat you will like it la, i love meat but this is too much for me.............

Biscuits & snacks from Hong Kong, Taiwan & Macau

This is the famous portuguese egg tart from Macau or better known as "po tat" by the locals. My sis brought it back all the way from Macau. We use the oven to reheat it and it still taste so good.
The pineapple biscuits was one of the local delicacies in Taiwan. I personally dun really like this biscuits cos it is too sweet but the one with egg yolk taste really nice. My aunt wanted to buy the pineapple biscuits with the yolk but the sales person took the wrong one. Instead they take the tau sar pheah with yolk for her. I dun like the tau sar pheah, i prefer our local tau sar pheah. As for the yam and peanut biscuits i didn't try yet. the pineapple, tau sar pheah and yam biscuit is from Taiwan. As for the peanut biscuit it is from Macau.
I am not sure the sun biscuits is from where but i think its from Taiwan. And the wive biscuit ..you guys should know where it's from... I didn't try any of these yet.

these are my cousins favourite. I never try these before...probably because of the colour. My hubby said it taste like century eggs.
These are the healthy tibits. Especially for those loves snacks and hate veggie. They actually bake these veggie, it taste jus like crackers...very crunchy..
Dried meat from Hong Kong. This shop was located in Hong Kong. according to my sis and aunt they are generous in sampling. Thats mean u get to try all the stuffs they sell in the shop.
i dunno where is this from and what it is but it is very delicious....
These are the candies from the 50's. My sis said the whole shop sell the candies and toys from the 50's. She bought some for her friends and our cousins.
For those who can read chinese, you sud know what are these? For those who cant read chinese...can you guess what is this? Love coke but was concern of the high sugar level...try this Zero sugar coke...but it was not available in Malaysia yet...

Yippee! My windows was fixed!

Yeah, I can log in already! I repair my windows with the windows cd then scan all my files and folders with TweakNow. TweakNow is awesome, previously i scan it with AVG but couldn't completely remove the bugger. TweakNow remove it all...that means i dun have to reformat... But for safety purpose i backup all my important files.........

I'm so tired so not going blog about food yet cos lazy to upload pictures. Woke up early to work, usually on my working days i will take afternoon nap. But today i went to Shiang Lin Temple to honoured my mum, grandpa and uncle. Qingming festival is next month, not sure the exact date. But usually will celebrate it earlier to avoid traffic jams and crowds. Due to my mum's, grandpa's and uncle's ashes was store i the urn compartment in Shiang Lin Temple, the celebration was very simple. We do not have to sweep tombs or burn joss paper or paper-mache items. As the temple does not encourage us to burn all these, it was stated on the temple notice board that burning all these does not prove that our ancestors may received it instead it will pollute the air and we had to chop down more trees to produce these joss paper. I am totally agree with them. We jus have to remember our ancestors by heart.

It has been 2-3 years that i never celebrate Qingming festival with my dad. My dad's ashes was stored in one of the temple in Kelantan. Previously i did not went because of my health. Tis year was suppose to go with my sis but she won't be able make it cos she need to go to KL to work. Some ppl may think i am giving excuses for not going but not going doesn't mean i do not respect my dad or i had forgotten my dad. I remember my mum and dad always, doesn't mean i had to stand infront of their ashes only mean i respect and love them. I am a free-thinker to me all this festival is not one of my religious festival but more like a family gathering.

*yawn* getting sleepy...it's been quite sometimes i never sleep early. Yup! 11 something is still early for me...i usually will sleep at 1 or 2...... Good night ppl!

This is what I get out of curiousity....

my windows was affected with the MSN virus...kaninabu................ I know i shouldn't click any link but i was chatting with my friend and he send me this link...i click la cos i trusted him.. the msg goes like this " the url with my msn id" then lol someone put ur picture here............. I really did tot my picture...manatau is some stupid guy picture........Damn it! After that whenever i log in its automatically send im to all my contacts that online.........I really hope nobody get this from me la........so sorry if you did! I did scan with AVG after i saw all those pop-ups of my contacts. I already deleted some but i believe it was still there. I saw some suggestion online, i couldn't remove it manually cos i could't log in to my windows at all. So now is either i reformat my pc or re-install my windows...if i re-install windows all my stuff will still be around and that means the virus might be around too...then i have to find it and delete it. the recommended action would be reformat........but i didnt back up my stuff.............not all files all important...i did had some backup for some old files...but not the latest especially the photos for my next blog post.......... Real f*** up!

Gifts from Taiwan & Hong Kong

My aunt & sis bought some stuffs for me from Taiwan & Hong Kong. And i'm loving it all.Flats...i love shoes...... especially flats.....

This one i asked her to buy...i know we can get it here but i wan something more obvious but my sis didn't heard me. And she bought this for me which is alright too, cos i lost mine in the previous photo shoot. When i told my sis about these faux lash, she told me she don't need one. Hers is natural. Then when she came back i saw her buying a few. She told me every girls Taiwan was using it...

I was browsing at a online catalogue one day b4 my sis came back. And i saw this piece:Which i find it interesting and considering to buy it....but i seldom buy clothes that i never try first especially dress like this...... And to my suprise they bought this for me...They say it was the latest fashion in Taiwan. So she bought this for me and oso this.

And Kenny Kor Kor bought this for me...............

So happy to received all these gifts. Oh, ya!they brought back a lot of food too. Will post it in the next entry.

Gift for my sista'- The Green Monster

My sister and my aunt are coming back today from their holiday in Taiwan, Hong Kong & Macau. My sis birthday fall on 17th Mac- St Patrick Day. And this year she was in Taiwan on her b'day. I'm sure she will have memorable birthday there.My sis camwhoring with a piece of crab

I dunno what to get for her. Then the other day when i went to Tesco i saw CJ7 soft toys at living cabin. But that time it was quite late the shop had closed. I think this CJ7 e.t is perfect for her cos it in green colour and its fury. My sis loves green and her nickname was MOMO.

So i went to Tesco just now, to get the gift. Unfortunately, when i reached there i didn't see a sign of the toy. Not even one. I asked the cashier, she told me it was out of stock. Wow! so "laku" meh? I guess i had to get else where but not today cos it raining and hubby its tired.

I wanted to get a cake, but i don't trust the bakery in Tesco. So i bought this instead.
I know, i know...J & CO is thousand times better than Missy Donuts...that what my sis said. But we dun J & Co in Penang. So replace it with Missy Donuts lo.

Back home i took out the handmade card i bought few months back.

i love this card. It is very simple and had nice colour. I think my sister would love it too, since she like green so much. I did a little touch-up on the card to make it more personalized.Done!

They will be back anytime from now. Can't wait to see what they bought.........for me... haha..... Of cos i miss my sis too... I miss irritating her. I love to irritate my sis, that is one of the way to brush away my boring time...akekeke...

Tortilla based Pizza

I discover something new on my last dining at Domino's Pizza. I am not sure bout other branch but the branch in Penang had an open kitchen. I ordered a thin crust pizza. I wanted to to see how they make the base so thin so i went to check it out. It turns out they had a ready based for thin crust. The base they had for the thin crust looks like a nan or maybe it is a nan.

Then suddenly i had this idea using tortilla as the based. I mention in my previous post. I went to Tesco to get some ingredients for the pizza but turn out i was lazy to cook on that day. So today, i was in the mood. I called up hubby asked him to come over for lunch since i haven't cook for him for quite sometimes.

These are the ingredients for my Pizza:

For the topping i had the canned-tuna, canned pineapples, sausages, crabstick and onions. I bought the wrong tomato. I suppose to buy tomato paste but i dunno why i buy tomato puree. But its ok, can use it oso. I didnt use it directly from the can. I wan it to be more fragrance so i fried it with onions, garlics and olive oil.

The paste its ready so spread it on the base then scattered the ingredients. Lastly top it with cheese. I love it with extra cheese but too bad the cheese i left was limited. I preheat the oven at 180 C for 5 minutes then bake for another 8 minutes at 220 C. After 13 minutes, ting!Half Seafood & Half Aloha

I gather all the leftover and scattered it but it was a bit over-cooked so the edge was burned.

I felt that using tortilla as the base was not bad cos i love thin crust pizza. Even my hubby who dun like thin crust oso enjoy the pizza and complained that i bake so little. I oso wanna bake more la...but out of cheese ... My cousin- Yang oso love it. I guess everyone not having enough of it but its a good thing though cos this will make them miss it.

Me the lazy cook...........

Last night i went to Tesco, and i get some ingredients to make pizza but this morning my hubby called and ask me if i wanted Wantan mee for lunch... Since wanted to buy for me then i don't have to cook anymore. Hubby said it would be a late lunch. So i had my breakfast first.

KoKoKrunch and Dutch Lady's milk.

I love cereal with milk. But cereal does not go with any brand of milk. I try it before with HL and Daisy and it does those taste as nice with Dutch Lady. I am lazy cook...so whenever i am hungry cereal and bread is the only food i would prepare for myself. Do you know i am even lazy to cook instant noodles? How about you guys do you guys like cereal too?

I've been searching for these song high and low. But i didn't know what the title and who sing it. I first listen this song in one of trailer in Astro. I love how the songs goes with trailer. Then i heard it over the radio but it was a promo clip so kinda of short. At the end of the songs...the singers shout out " wo men shi xing guang bang". So i search under "xing guang bang" but cannot find these song. Finally, i was playing game and i heard this song over the tv. I quickly ran over to the tv area. And i saw Pan Yu Wen on screen. This will make my search easy liao with the name of the artist. And i found it thru youtube then imeem then ares....

Back to the cyber world!

Gosh!Finally, i can online. These few days is like so miserable and no life. I knew i mentioned in my last post, that i need to spend less time on screen. The less time i meant are, not more than 5 hours a day but not continously for 5 f**king days.

My aunt forgotten to pay the bill before the weekend. So i had stucked at home with NO INTERNET service. Hubby some more had to work over the weekend which is i can't go to his house to online. My cousin actually ask to join him to cyber cafe, he say he need to check his mail, but i jus don't feel like going there.

This morning my cousin, wake me up to go pay the bills cos we scare his mum, my aunt will forgotten to pay it again. I went to the nearest post office. i call up 100 asked them when will there activated my service again. She told me 24 hours...I was like "huh"? Everything was through system. They should see it in their system that i had already paid and can activate for me anytime. Why do they need 24 hours to do that? Then i was like ok, fine i had to suffer another day without the internet. I had finish watching 10 episodes of "Master of Tai Chi", "The Mexican"- i dunno how long is that movie actually i jus feel like it is more that 2 hours, and "Love Wrecked". If i still can't online now...i dunno watch movie i will watch...maybe korek my cousin's anime?

Lucky me! My cousin told me the internet had reactivated... Thank god! For those who tagged me..i will try to do the tag asap. Off- Screens

This box of beads are going to make me spend lesser time in front of the screens. This is one of the job offer by my company as a home job - jewellery making. I love jewellery making.. it is my hobby. By doing these, i get to strengthen my beading skill, earn extra money and less time in front of the pc. I've been glue in front the monitor nearly the whole day even since i discover all those arcade games. And these monitor of mine really strain my eyes..man! Ok, Chao!

I finally get the soft copy of the pic i took in Bright Spark. Walau...really have bad experience with all these bridal house. I remember 3 years back, i had my first collection shot at Kuang Yee Bridal House. After they received the full payment. They had stop working. They promise your album to be ready for collection in one month, but i get it two months later. I had selected an album cover that i prefer. But they change it without notified me. And that particular promoter that sell the package to me even try to avoid me without good explanation. Kanneh!

I tot Bright Spark Studio will be better, manatua it is oso the same la. Full payment received liao, photos taken liao..everything put aside. And these ppl are definetely good in sales. After you sign up for one package, when you went to select pictures for your album. They propose to you to design your album meaning additional $$$ or they will proposed for you to purchase the viewing file ( that can be only view in the pc) one piece for RM 2 if your purchased 50 pieces and above. If less than 50 pieces it would be RM 10 per piece. I bought the viewing file, the lady told me it would be ready in 1 or 2 days. I was there 1 or 2 days (Sunday)later cos my cousin wanted to sign-up a package too. The lady say it was not ready yet...she say it would be ready on Wednesday. But i didn't went there on Wed...i went there 3 days later that is Saturday. Still she said it was not ready. And she asked me why i didn't call her. Actually she was suppose to call me not i call her. Hello, all you need is to resize those pictures and transfer it to the CD, how long can that be? They didn't even have to edit or touch-up those pictures cos she say it is not included in that price. If you wan it to be touch-up there will be an additional charges.

It was scheduled that i will received my album by 21st Mac. I am not sure if they will delay again. Learn my lesson...next time dun pay in full......

Celebrating Melissa's Bday...

Melissa, my high school mate birthday was on 12th of Mac. Due 12th of Mac was on weekdays, and we are not sure if all of us can make it. So, we celebrated with her last night.

We were supposed to go to Ferringghi Cafe of Ferringhi Beach ( not sure the place name), my friend Winnie said it was a nice place with nice environment. Melissa is fetching all of us cos she is staying in Bayan Baru, but as usual she is late again. We tot of changing our destination, but couldn't came out with another place. On our way up to Batu Ferringghi, there were traffic jams in Mt Erskine. We were curious why so many ppl going up Bt Ferringghi, mana tau they had Parti Keadilan ceramah......and DSAI( Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim) was there to give lecturing.

Then Pizza R Us suddenly came up to my mind, so i suggested to the guys that we can go to Pizza R Us which located at Prima Tanjung cos it is nearer. They agree and we went. Soli, no pictures cos we're so hungry when the food arrived we jus gobbled up everything. Anyway, i dun really recommend Pizza R Us. The buffalo wings' sucks! The Tomato basil loaf ....was burned...i think the one i bake was better... But the pizza was ok... but the portion are small...the large Pizza was jus the size of a regular pizza. And the interior of the diner was all wrong, and they definetely had limited tables.... If i am not mistaken the owner of Pizza R Us is Albert- ex staff from US Pizza. I used to know him when i work in Island Plaza...not very close though...It was jus a hi and bye friend.......

It was still early, when we finish eating. So we move to the next destination, Hainan Cafe, located in jetty. Our Calynn Mummy was sick so Winnie suggested another place nearer which i suggested earlier Martini Cafe at Gurney Drive.We took out the 2 pieces of cakes we bought for Melissa at Ritz bakery at Prima Tanjung.
It was white chocolate forest and hazelnut........(forgotten the fullname). Anyway, for those haven't try the cakes from Ritz bakery, you might wanna try it. Other then Jenni's Cake house this bakery served the best cakes. It might be expensive but it is worth it.

We lighted the candles...sing the birthday song, Melissa cut the cake and make a wish. And we took turns take pictures with the birthday girl...

After that, our drinks was served....me and Calynn mummy had the mocktail. I had tropic..... (forgotten the name again!), Calynn had the Pink Breeze which tatse like Ribena. Winnie had Kilkenny, i took a sip it was very unique better than all those Calsberg, Tiger and bla bla bla. And Melissa had the Long Island.

And we asked the waitress to help us take the group pic....

Till then dunno when is the next time we will gather again. Cos one is busy taking care of her baby, another one is busy working ot. Usually it will be jus me and Melissa hang out for movies and ice kacang.......

Headache and confused!

Well, i am not interested in polictic stuff actually. But since i am a first time voter, so i rely on videos, history and reading materials for reference. In my previous post, a lot of ppl will think i will vote for the opposition, me myself oso think i will vote for the opposition. But before that post i only listen to speeches from the opposition party. Base only their speech, i had decided to vote for them. The other day i take time to read all those booklets that i received from BN. Me and my cousin oso discuss bout this election issue even though he has not reached the age of voting yet. He told me, price increase it is not the fault of the government. Those fuel, sugar, flour...the price were increase throughout the world not only in Malaysia. So far in my district, i only see contribution from BN. I dun see any from the opposition party. I agree this candidates only show their faces during election, but at least they contribute. what the opposition did was only promises.. They promise this and that if they won....but they do nothing if they lose......A friend of mine told me, Datuk Seri Anwar mention once they (opposition) take over, the fuel 's price will decrease. Will they manage to do that? How? Can someone tell me?

I really regret to register as a voter. If i never did, i won't have to trouble myself who to vote.. They are so many what if? what if? and what if?. My main concern is , if the opposition won the parliament seat, will the May 13th incident repeat? Will you guys guarantee they are no bribery if the opposition win? If the BN won, everything will still be the same, bribery continue, money-wasting projects.... and bla bla bla......... Can you guys tell who is perfect in this world?

Right at this moment, maybe you guys will think i vote for BN. Some of you will think, who you vote is none of our business.........and some of you will think why i make a fuss bout this election thingy....... since when i so care bout the politic.......actually saya pun tak tau la......i just wanna blog out my confused feeling........ I will put this election thingy aside until tomorow when i am the polling centre only decide lo....... So last post bout this year election, who win or who lose... we still have to go on living.............
