Jus some random post!

Hi, ppl.. its been a while ya! I didn't update not because i am sad or wat... jus been lazy and wanna spend more time with my family. Anyway, thanks for all the well-wishes from your guys. Maybe you guys tot that i am very sad and me crying like a cow.. Frankly i am not as sad as you think. If my grandma still bed-ridden and unconscious then i will be very sad. If only i can show the pic of my grandma face in the hospital bed and coffin(i actually had those pics, but i dun think is proper to publish it here) then you will understand what I am trying to say here.

The day when my grandma pass away was actually hubby's birthday too. So i didn't celebrate with him. Actually we had plans to celebrate in Tao Authentic Cuisine since i cannot go.. hubby went with him friends.

But i treat him to Chilis on Monday as a replacement. Since it's only the two of us. I only ordered 2 dishes.

The triple play was alright but i would prefer the "Three For All" from TGIF. The spagetti chicken was not good. Last but not least for the first time in history, hubby willing to pose for my blog!

My 2008 birthday celebration

This year birthday was wonderful. Thanks for all those wonderful wishes from sms, phone calls, facebook, friendster and blog..

On the eve, hubby took me out for dinner at Secret Recipe just the two of us. I read in Ah Leng's food blog that the Meatball Spaghetti was not bad and i read someone else blog that the lasagna was oso nice. So i ordered this two dishes:

For dessert we share an oreo cheese cake. This is the first time i get to try the oreo cheese cake. A lot of times i try to order but it has finished. So i will order marble cheese cake instead. I still prefer marble cheese cake though.

On the day itself, actually in the morning me and Melissa are going back to our school - CGL to had the authentic Char Koey Teow. Winnie was on her MC leave so she decided to join us too. Unfortunately, the Char Koey Teow's stall was closed. So we settled for a dim sum at Macalister Road. After dim sum, they hang out at my place to online. They are going to tagged along with me and Vincy to the fish spa. But Vincy called and told me she will not be able to make it cos her mother-in-law was not around and she need to babysit her Princess Chloe.

So, the 3 of us went to Happy Feet in New World Park. I had my free session, and Winnie and Melissa had the 30 minutes session.A closer look at the fishes:

Apart from the FREE 30 minutes session, i was oso given a RM5 gift voucher.

After fish spa, we went back home. Later at night we came out again for dinner. This time with Calynn too. We went to had dinner at Feringghi Garden. A restaurant with very nice environment,

and oso nice foods. We ordered 4 dishes and shared:Baked Crab i assumed.. forgotten the exact name for this dish

Sizzling Lamb Chop - must try...this is delicious.. best among all Rosemary Grilled ChickenMongolian Sizzling Beef - ok but a bit salty

Nice environment like this is just a perfect place to camwhore:After dinner we went to Sunset Bistro it was located just behind Feringghi beach:

This place is very cozy a good place for drinking and chatting.

Batu Kawan Seafood

It's food post again! Hahaha...before you start drooling... Let me wish my dear friend - Calynn .... Happy Birthday!
Happy Birthday Calynn Mummy.....Yes! She is mummy adi...One of the hot mummy i knew....

We celebrated with her earlier on the 11th May... She suggested to had seafood at Batu Kawan. So off we went all the way to Batu Kawan....When we reach there around 7 something...It was already so packed..... But lucky we didn't wait long to be seated..... This is the first time for me and Melissa to come here ( don't really like seafood...so troublesome to peels off those shells)....but Winnie and Calynn had came here before and they knew what's nice to eat.....

So they ordered:

This one a bit salty...must take it with rice....but we didnt order rice...We had the "Teo Chew" Noodle...
I like this one lo.... but i miss the one that my grandma cook...She will cook with pork belly and small shrimps....
I dunno what this called...Winnie said it looks like helicopter...Anyone know what's this called?
This one the sauce very nice...too bad didn't order the fried mantao..Or else dipping the mantao with the sauce very yummy! And i nearly break my tooth cos eating the crab lo...

Last but not least.....This one is one of their signature dish....but i am not good at sucking "balitong"...

After seafood, it was still early so we went to Autocity.......but i will leave that for next post!

Another birthday celebration.....

This year we had an early celebration for Winnie's birthday.The birthday's girl- Winnie

Her actual birthday was on the 7th April but due her hectic schedule we manage to slip in on the 3rd. At first we plan to celebrate at AutoCity but Melissa couldn't make it. So we agree to meet up in Queensbay Mall and settle for dinner in TGI Friday.

We shared the 3 course meal:

Appetizer- buffalo wings
Main Course - Sizzling Saute Chicken
Dessert - Mocha Mud Pie (yummy~~)

We order the ala carte burger too:
The World Famous Friday Burger ( so grand hor the name of this burger).

Actually we get a free appetizer- calamari rings. Why get free ar? Because of our server of day- Brian ( a very cute and boyish look with charming accent) was late for taking our orders lo. And his manager tot we was mad so he gave us the calamari rings to apologize..

Gift for my sista'- The Green Monster

My sister and my aunt are coming back today from their holiday in Taiwan, Hong Kong & Macau. My sis birthday fall on 17th Mac- St Patrick Day. And this year she was in Taiwan on her b'day. I'm sure she will have memorable birthday there.My sis camwhoring with a piece of crab

I dunno what to get for her. Then the other day when i went to Tesco i saw CJ7 soft toys at living cabin. But that time it was quite late the shop had closed. I think this CJ7 e.t is perfect for her cos it in green colour and its fury. My sis loves green and her nickname was MOMO.

So i went to Tesco just now, to get the gift. Unfortunately, when i reached there i didn't see a sign of the toy. Not even one. I asked the cashier, she told me it was out of stock. Wow! so "laku" meh? I guess i had to get else where but not today cos it raining and hubby its tired.

I wanted to get a cake, but i don't trust the bakery in Tesco. So i bought this instead.
I know, i know...J & CO is thousand times better than Missy Donuts...that what my sis said. But we dun J & Co in Penang. So replace it with Missy Donuts lo.

Back home i took out the handmade card i bought few months back.

i love this card. It is very simple and had nice colour. I think my sister would love it too, since she like green so much. I did a little touch-up on the card to make it more personalized.Done!

They will be back anytime from now. Can't wait to see what they bought.........for me... haha..... Of cos i miss my sis too... I miss irritating her. I love to irritate my sis, that is one of the way to brush away my boring time...akekeke...

Celebrating Melissa's Bday...

Melissa, my high school mate birthday was on 12th of Mac. Due 12th of Mac was on weekdays, and we are not sure if all of us can make it. So, we celebrated with her last night.

We were supposed to go to Ferringghi Cafe of Ferringhi Beach ( not sure the place name), my friend Winnie said it was a nice place with nice environment. Melissa is fetching all of us cos she is staying in Bayan Baru, but as usual she is late again. We tot of changing our destination, but couldn't came out with another place. On our way up to Batu Ferringghi, there were traffic jams in Mt Erskine. We were curious why so many ppl going up Bt Ferringghi, mana tau they had Parti Keadilan ceramah......and DSAI( Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim) was there to give lecturing.

Then Pizza R Us suddenly came up to my mind, so i suggested to the guys that we can go to Pizza R Us which located at Prima Tanjung cos it is nearer. They agree and we went. Soli, no pictures cos we're so hungry when the food arrived we jus gobbled up everything. Anyway, i dun really recommend Pizza R Us. The buffalo wings' sucks! The Tomato basil loaf ....was burned...i think the one i bake was better... But the pizza was ok... but the portion are small...the large Pizza was jus the size of a regular pizza. And the interior of the diner was all wrong, and they definetely had limited tables.... If i am not mistaken the owner of Pizza R Us is Albert- ex staff from US Pizza. I used to know him when i work in Island Plaza...not very close though...It was jus a hi and bye friend.......

It was still early, when we finish eating. So we move to the next destination, Hainan Cafe, located in jetty. Our Calynn Mummy was sick so Winnie suggested another place nearer which i suggested earlier Martini Cafe at Gurney Drive.We took out the 2 pieces of cakes we bought for Melissa at Ritz bakery at Prima Tanjung.
It was white chocolate forest and hazelnut........(forgotten the fullname). Anyway, for those haven't try the cakes from Ritz bakery, you might wanna try it. Other then Jenni's Cake house this bakery served the best cakes. It might be expensive but it is worth it.

We lighted the candles...sing the birthday song, Melissa cut the cake and make a wish. And we took turns take pictures with the birthday girl...

After that, our drinks was served....me and Calynn mummy had the mocktail. I had tropic..... (forgotten the name again!), Calynn had the Pink Breeze which tatse like Ribena. Winnie had Kilkenny, i took a sip it was very unique better than all those Calsberg, Tiger and bla bla bla. And Melissa had the Long Island.

And we asked the waitress to help us take the group pic....

Till then dunno when is the next time we will gather again. Cos one is busy taking care of her baby, another one is busy working ot. Usually it will be jus me and Melissa hang out for movies and ice kacang.......
