Stickers Mania

I collected stickers since i was young but had stop collecting ever since i started working. As i seldom go to bookshops anymore...so i had stop buying stickers.

But now that i am into scrapbooking, i started buying stickers again. Especially the alphabets stickers. Yesterday, while waiting for hubby to fetch me after work, I pay a visit to La Belle- a wholesale of korea accessories. Last time I use to go there often when i was still helping my friend in the night market. My colleague's birthday is coming soon, so i tot maybe there something suitable for her. Unfortunately they are clearing stocks, so no new or nice stocks. But they have stickers. So i check out with the staff if my wholesale account still active. She checked the system and my account was active. So, i bought these:All these for only RM 6.70- wholesale price. If buy in retail at least RM 1 per piece. Nowadays sticker not cheap ler.

When i go home, i take out my sticker box...i realize that i bought so much stickers in this 2 months. These are only mine. If we ( me, my sis & aunt) combined our stickers, we can actually open a small kiosk to sell it....

So many stickers, but didn't even finish a scrapbook. I'm in the midst of scraping my passport-sized photo... but only completed 2 pages. Nowadays don't have the time or mood to scrap....

Previously in war of in-laws 1 Liza Wong posses a bossy mother in-law and oso cousin of the queen whereas in War of in-laws 2 she is a sassy mother in-law who leads a fashion magazine company.

Here the synopsis:

Myolie Wu is a tomboyish police officer who becomes romantically involved with Liza's son portrayed by Bosco Wong, a rich pretty boy in disguise.

Review: Realiti

Well, it has been a long time since i follow the tv series. Since my grandma started her marathon on Taiwan Hokkien Series...she fully conquered our living room tv. Can you imagine she watch tv 12 hours per day? More keng than me ler... Last time i can la...but now i got other things to do like blogging.

Erm...few weeks ago...when my grandma is not around.. So i got to watch tv. I flip thru most of the channels we had in Astro. Then i discover this new series Realiti... It is local shows 8tv production. I can't remember which is the last local series i watch. I had a few favourites back in high school ...that time havent subsribes to Astro yet. Back then my favourite was Kopitiam, Spanar Jaya and another malay series in NTV7 forget the title adi.

Ok, back to Realiti. When i discover this shows, they already shown till the 8th episode. So its like no head and no tail. I like this shows cos it is like our local lifestyle. The shows consist few languages, malay, english and hokkien.

When i was watching the show...i saw a guy in that show look just like my friend. And i was curious and wanted to know whether is my friend or not. So i log in to the 8tv website to checkout... Unfortunately the website do not provide the actual name of the show extras. ( i msg my fren he say not him)But the good news is...i get to watch the series online. And i get to watch the show from the beginning... And i found out that you get watch 8tv shows online if the show is from 8tv production...

I have not finish watching the whole series yet. But let me intro the series to you:

Had Yai Part 3- Pain & Pleasure

In this trip, we stay in a new hotel- Mayflower Grande Hotel. This hotel is only 4 months old. It is oso a 3 C's hotel. What is 3 C's? 1. Clean 2. Cheap 3. Convenient...It is located in the city. Famous shopping malls like Lee's Garden and Central are within walking distance. So anytime, shopping till tired can go walk hotel rest and it is convenient for me to go back for my dialysis every 5 hour. Tut-tut services and 7-Eleven are jus in-front of the hotel. it is only 900 baht +++ per night.Lai, lai , lai buy 4d...Lucky Number 1402..... Our room number....
This is our room...Looks very clean and tidy ya? Morning scene from our room...not very nice view though...

Those who are going to visit Had Yai and looking for accomodation, may try this hotel. Located in 150, Sangchan Road. Contact No: 074-234-888, 074-230-120 or email- mayflowergrande@hotmail.com.

Other than shopping, eating we oso go massaging. The first day, before our Japanese buffet dinner we went for foot massage. The foot massage was in a hair saloon. This hair saloon provide multiple services. Other than hair services and massaging. They oso provide facial, manicure& pedicure and oso ear digging.

The foot massage was not a pleasure but pain. And i don't think the masseur are all professionals. I don't really enjoy the massage i prefer the one i did in Penang...that one at least more pro. Other than foot massage. We went to spa the next day. The spa we went Cenvaree Spa was located inside Novotel Hotel. My aunt and Kenny Kor tried the services here on their last trip and they are very satisfied with their services. So this time they took us to try out. We decide on a package that provides scrubs, massage and wraps. But substitute the wraps with longer duration of massage. The spa duration was 2 1/2 hours.
So far in Pg..i went to spa twice. The first time was Danai Spa when they first open and they had a promotional rates. The 2nd time was after i get my bonus from MBF..I went to Santuary Spa in Gurney Hotel. The best sure is Danai Spa, then Santuary Spa. To me this Cenvaree Spa was ok nia but better than none lo. Cos the masseur don't realy know how to control their strenght. When they massage...soft is too soft and hard is too hard. In Pg, usually after massage and scrubs they provide bath services in a jacuzzi. But in Had Yai...they don't recommend bath after massage. Cos they believe when we massage our pores are widened and if we bath the water might ran thru the pores and it will cause arthritis in future. But that what my grandma believe too..whenever we massage ointment to the affected of our body, my grandma asked us not to wash our hands and the that area immediately.

After spa they served us Ginger tea and a towel to wipe our hands or face. The ginger tea served in an elephant glass...Cute, right?

Had Yai Part 2- It's all about Food

I am so lazy to post this up...not in the mood to blog. But still have post this otherwise it will bcome a very very outdated post.

Warning: Long Post...Check the pictures will do...no need to read what i wrote if you are lazy...

I eat so much when in Hat Yai. Never feel hungry even once...actually once...The first nite after drinking the "teh ais".. i couldn't sleep. Then i feel hungry..

Ok, let me start with favourite food for this trip. The food is from the stalls in the Night Paradise. Something that i never thought i would try cos its not something i like.
What izzit? it's...............(drumroll)......................Tu Kar Pui....(Pork Leg Rice)
This is the "tu kar". "Tu Kar" was never my favourite. My aunt fully recommend this so i tried and i totally agree with her this is delicious. The "tu kar pui" was served with the green vege ( as seen on pic), "kiam chye" ( preserved salty vege) and a special chili sauce. Overall it tasted abit "kiam kiam" ( salty) and "swui swui" ( sour). Very appetizing ler... My aunt interview the seller, she don't have a shop or stall to sell her "tu kar pui" on normal days. She told us she only sell on this Year End Carnival nia. That means one year only open business for 3 days nia.We even "ta pao" (take away) back to pg and reheat it later but it does not taste as good anymore.

Another favourite is the pork skewer..something like satay but the meat are bigger portion.
We oso tapau this back..........

The first meal we had located somewhere near the central street market. where the shop sell fresh seafood. As kenny Kor wanted to had the oyster. Other than the oyster, we had the deep fried soft shell crab and Seafood Tom Yam.
I didn't try the oyster...I dun really like oyster. even if i eat fried oyster i only like the egg...not the oyster.. This is our lunch for the first day.

For dinner, we had Japanese buffet @ Ginger Restaurant-Novotel. Why come all the way to Had Yai to eat Japanese Food? First, it was recommended by friends , 2nd you can't find RM 39.50 +++ eh Japanese Buffet Dinner in Malaysia. If got oso damn paria 1.The price shown does not include beverage. So there will be additional charge for beverage. Even if you asked for plain water...they served you mineral water. You will definetely need water after eating the food. Cos the seasoning in the food damn heavy...eat adi very thirsty.. The most tempting food for me is the dessert....let me show you the picture of the dessert corner...Look tempting right! They display the dessert in a cart. The dessert also had the chocolate fountain but i did not capture the pic.Mini Dim sum... You should be wondering why dim sum in Japanese Buffet? I oso wanna know lo... I try it cos it is cute la...the taste..so-so nia lo.This is the Zaru Soba ( i forgotten the japanese name..luckily Kacang is around can ask her) The japanese cold noodle. My aunt try it...i did not. She had two she say very nice wor.

The next day........we had our branch at Chester's Grill- Lee Garden. Chester's Grill is a fast food deli. The food is very nice. I had the Spicy Grill Chicken Burger.Let the pictures tell you......lazy to type liao.

Later at night, we had our dinner at the Night Paradise. What we had? You see lo...( Soli ah leng, i know you mention it is difficult to see the picture thru slides...but i lazy to upload liao...slides easier)

Lastly, our midnight snack...Not i wanna had supper le but this stall only open in the midnite..The mini "Yew Char Koay" dipped in kaya (coconut Jam). The "yew char koay" is normal lo...but the kaya very nice.

The last day we had our branch at the Lee's Garden Food Court. Didnt take pic cos was in a hurry and hungry. I had "Kuey Chiap"...Very nice i like the soup.........

Oh..ya! Not forgetting bout Chocky.... Look like the Rocky we had in Malaysia right but this is the giant stick.I've been searching for it...finally found it in Diana's Watson. But they don't have the chocolate flavour. I bought it anyway cos it is cheap only RM 4.20.

Finally, finish liao. i take more than an hour to blog this post. Very minor text but it takes time to edit and upload those pictures. Hope you guys enjoy the food virtually.......

Something New....

When my sis is on leave and she is no going anywhere for holiday...I'm gonna put on weight...Why? Cos she will be cooking and trying out new recipes. My Sis love to cook and everytime when she try new recipe it will turn out not bad (except for banana cake...she tried twice oso failed bcome kuih instead).

Before we went to Hat Yai, my sis when to Hanoi, Vietnam with her church members to do some charity work. My sis said Hanoi is a very poor country. Those hawkers can't even afford a proper stall to sell their stuff. Anyway...my sis bought back the rice paper. Actually she wanted to make the Vietnamese spring rolls on our Christmas Eve's dinner ... but she was not free that nite ...last minute gift wrapping that y.

So last night, so made the Vietnamese spring rolls and try out a few new recipes... And my aunt Michelle cook "Cola Chicken Wings".

I didnt manage try this...cos finish liao. I think its delicious or else won't finish so fast.
This ok nia...cos the meat ball too salty. I jus brush the teriyaki sauce on the balls..I think it will takes better if marinade it for a while.
This ribs was ok oso. My sis marinated it for 7 hours...actually must marinate over night. I think it will taste better if marinate over night.
I don't like pumpkin so i did not try this.
I only ate the sweet potatoes. This was easy to bake. Butter it with sesame and paprika then bakes around 35 minutes at 180 c.
this is delicious and something new to me...Never tried this before..nice snack!

My sis will only back to work on the 7th. and she said she is going to made Tiramisu and ice blended yogurt with black glutinuos rice...yummy!

If i had good health everything will eventually get better.

As i commented in Taugeh's blog, i dun go for countdown or celebrated it anywhere. Cos i dun like crowded places and definetely hate traffic jams even i am not the one driving. New year eve's went to attend my friends- Woei's wedding dinner at Jade's Palace. The food was ok.. Did not snap much picture though cos the bride was too busy...Moi and the bride- Woei

After dinner went back lo...didnt go anywhere. Then 1st Jan, continue shopping for my cny's clothes then had lunch with hubby. For dinner, we had a small gathering at Hearts And Hands. Hearts and Hands is not any restaurant..its was my aunt Rowena's craft shop. Will post the shop interior later...as she did very nice craft and put a lot of effort decorating her shops.
