A Night of Mayhem

Last weekend, i had a wonderful reunion with 17 CGLian of 99. We rented a room at Hydro Majestic. Not many of us staying over but most of the girls stay up late to catch up with each other.

It's a great time to catch up with everyone from the science class to art class. Some of them i haven't seen ever since we left school. We were so noisy swapping stories and laughing so loud till the guest sleeping in the room beneath our floor got fad up and shouted from the balcony asking us to tone down.. It was fun reminiscing the old times, which brings back lots of memory.

Thanks to "the ones" that organized this. Hope we will have another gathering like this in future with more people attend. Cheers!

080808 - Girls Day Out

A lot may be staying at home watching the opening ceremony of the Beijing Olympic 2008, i watch the beginning and i nearly fall asleep..lol.... Not interested in this kind of stuff. My friend say should make 080808 a memorable day and we ended go clubbing.

It's has been 3-4 years since i last club.. Jus don feel like clubbing ever since i quit drinking. But make it exceptional on the day... drink little bit. We went to Mois. It's my first time to Mois. My friend suggested that we ordered Bacardi Apple...

Taste jus like sparkling apple juice with the Sprite. Nice! Since it is sweet you can drink a lot. But I have to limit...i only drink one glass.. So cannot Go high and enjoy to the max~~ Sien!

Other than drinking, dancing what else we did? Of cos must camwhore la cos very rare we hang out together. There was photographer in the club too. Walking around taking pictures, he sees us so gien take photos he oso came to our table to snap a few for us.

Celebrating Melissa's Bday...

Melissa, my high school mate birthday was on 12th of Mac. Due 12th of Mac was on weekdays, and we are not sure if all of us can make it. So, we celebrated with her last night.

We were supposed to go to Ferringghi Cafe of Ferringhi Beach ( not sure the place name), my friend Winnie said it was a nice place with nice environment. Melissa is fetching all of us cos she is staying in Bayan Baru, but as usual she is late again. We tot of changing our destination, but couldn't came out with another place. On our way up to Batu Ferringghi, there were traffic jams in Mt Erskine. We were curious why so many ppl going up Bt Ferringghi, mana tau they had Parti Keadilan ceramah......and DSAI( Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim) was there to give lecturing.

Then Pizza R Us suddenly came up to my mind, so i suggested to the guys that we can go to Pizza R Us which located at Prima Tanjung cos it is nearer. They agree and we went. Soli, no pictures cos we're so hungry when the food arrived we jus gobbled up everything. Anyway, i dun really recommend Pizza R Us. The buffalo wings' sucks! The Tomato basil loaf ....was burned...i think the one i bake was better... But the pizza was ok... but the portion are small...the large Pizza was jus the size of a regular pizza. And the interior of the diner was all wrong, and they definetely had limited tables.... If i am not mistaken the owner of Pizza R Us is Albert- ex staff from US Pizza. I used to know him when i work in Island Plaza...not very close though...It was jus a hi and bye friend.......

It was still early, when we finish eating. So we move to the next destination, Hainan Cafe, located in jetty. Our Calynn Mummy was sick so Winnie suggested another place nearer which i suggested earlier Martini Cafe at Gurney Drive.We took out the 2 pieces of cakes we bought for Melissa at Ritz bakery at Prima Tanjung.
It was white chocolate forest and hazelnut........(forgotten the fullname). Anyway, for those haven't try the cakes from Ritz bakery, you might wanna try it. Other then Jenni's Cake house this bakery served the best cakes. It might be expensive but it is worth it.

We lighted the candles...sing the birthday song, Melissa cut the cake and make a wish. And we took turns take pictures with the birthday girl...

After that, our drinks was served....me and Calynn mummy had the mocktail. I had tropic..... (forgotten the name again!), Calynn had the Pink Breeze which tatse like Ribena. Winnie had Kilkenny, i took a sip it was very unique better than all those Calsberg, Tiger and bla bla bla. And Melissa had the Long Island.

And we asked the waitress to help us take the group pic....

Till then dunno when is the next time we will gather again. Cos one is busy taking care of her baby, another one is busy working ot. Usually it will be jus me and Melissa hang out for movies and ice kacang.......

Finally we met................

After we knew each other, we just been chatting. We never met before. So, i told him if he ever drop by Penang he gotto call me and i will try my best to met up with him.

So the first time he was Penang, he sent me a message that he was in Lam Wah Ee Hospital. I reply him asking wat's wrong with him, izzit he is hospitalized? But he reply he was jus going for his check-ups....I couldn't make it to meet him so i decided to meet him up the next day.......Unfortunately the next day, he had already back to his hometown. Alor Setar.

The 2nd time, he came again for his check up. I knew about him coming and i told myself this time i must meet up with him. I even suggested a few hotels he can stay during his stay in Penang. This time another thing came up. My aunt's bf wanna treat me for a vacation in Had Yai, and my sis wanna make passport for me... Free accommodation in Had Yai and free passport? I don't wanna miss it, i never been to vacation for so long. So, i had to sacrifies meeting him again.

Finally, he msg me again on 29th Feb 00:12: "wei, sui eh, i am at penang now ;)"

When i received the msg, i was already cover myself under the blanket, getting ready to find my Wentworth Miller.So, he called me up the next evening. And i told i try will meet him up the next day, and he asked me to call the guy that boycott him along. So, msn the guy that boycott him and told him about it. But that guy say he is not free, he going to Red Box to strengthen his singing skill and to prepare to become the next Malaysian Idol.The next Malaysian Idol - Allen Ooi "Blogger Mimpi"

I am very lazy to go in details anymore. So i will cut it short. So we later agree to meet last night at E-gate. And i would like to thank the blogger mimpi for fetching me. So, after craping for so long....... do you know who am i meeting? His family owns a grocery store and he looks like this...

Dinner @ Mizi Bistro

Last night we ( Ah Leng, TSP, me and hubby) had dinner at Mizi Bistro. It was suppose to be a farewell dinner but TSp told us he might extend his stay in Penang. So, probably go out again. A Leng suggested a few places, the jail concept Japanese restaurant in Leith Street, little cottage and Mizi Bistro. Later we decide on Mizi Bistro. So i reserved for 4 pax. We did ask others to join us but they are not free. So only the 4 of us.
This is my first time to Mizi Bistro. Actually i have tasted their food before but in different branch. I usually goes to the one in Prangin Mall which is less crowded. Remember the sandwich post that i blog last month? yup, you can get the club sandwich at Mizi too.

So, we had the set cos RM 19.90 ++. Price increased last time was jus Rm 16.90 ++ but i believe the one in Prangin still RM 16.90++ per set. Cos i jus have it last few weeks ago. The set consist of soup, main course, drinks and desserts. Me and Ah Leng had the signature mushroom soup:

Well, it does not taste as good as i always had cos this is watery not as creamy as before.

My hubby had the oxtail's soup:

i tried the oxtail's soup ...tastes so-so nia.

TSP had the french onion soup. He commented the soup was not bad.

Looks yummy , right? I will try it some other time. Actually i wanted to try the broccoli soup but they dun have it in the Mizi's menu. I remember i saw it in the J.L Gourmet's menu.

For the main course, i tried the Fettucine Cabornara. It is too creamy and cheezy, i couldn't take much.

My hubby and Ah Leng had what i alwis had. The Fillet Of Fish “Grenobloise”. It was pan-fried fish with butter, lemon juice and herbs.

TSp had the chicken chop with mushroom sauce. I did not snap the picture. You may check out the chicken chop pic in BLOG it with ALLEN. TSP commented that it was nice but couldn't take much bcos of the creamy sauce.

The place was so crowded. They were out of the ice cream's cup when we finishes the main course. While waiting for the ice cream's cup. Me and Ah Leng busy snapping pictures.
I was trying to snap the boss's pic but couldn't get the right angle and timing. Finally Ah Leng manage to snap him, taking orders from one of the table.

Finally, the waitress took out the ice cream's cups. The ice cream was free flow i guess. There were not much variety left. I took the green tea and coffee flavour.

The guys enjoying their dessert. Ah Leng an ice cream's fan had six scoops..akekke. It's about 10 when we finishes everything. We only took one group pic, but not in my camera. So if you wanna check out the group pic you may check out Ah Leng's blog.

Taiwan Bull

I mentioned in previous post, that i meet up with Taugeh, TSP, Ah Tox, Ah Tox Soh and Atupek in Queensbay Mall on the 3rd day of Lunar New Year. We had lunch in Taiwan Bull. When we arrived Taugeh, TSP and Atupek is already eating halfway. Me and hubby haven't eat so went to place our order.

I ordered Hot and Spicy Minced Beef Noodle.

This taste ok but not really spicy ler. I couldn't finish cos the portion too big or maybe that day i am not so hungry.

We always loves baby octopus. And Taiwan Bull has it, so i ordered it as side dish.
Yummy! Most places serve this as cold dish included Taiwan Bull. I remember the first time i had this dish was during Vincy's engagement dinner in Eden Seafood Village. They served it hot and it is so delicious from that time onwards i already fall for this dish.

My hubby not sure wat to order. So suggested the Unagi Egg Rice cos he loves unagi. I dun really like unagi.

For drinks i jus ordered Honey Lemon, i did not order the Pearly Milk Tea cos i tried before and doesn't taste that good. I really miss the Pearly Milk Tea in one the shop in One-Stop. I use to went there for Pearly Milk Tea back in high school. Back then it is the only shop that sells Pearly Milk Tea and we called it sucking ovums. A guy friend of mine says the pearls look like ovums (as if he saw ovums before)

2nd day of Lunar New Year- 8th Feb 2008

I meet up with Taugeh, Kacang, Tau Sar Pia and Ah Leng at Noodle Station E-Gate. I am not going blog bout the food as i already did. If you miss out the post. You may check it out!

This is the first time i met Kacang and TSP. Both are friendly in reality and virtually. But TSP are notti in reality...haha... Anyway we had a great time though is there are a few silence moments...hehe...I did took some pictures.....

I am sure you guys know who is who adi...No need to introduce anymore.......
Souvenirs from Ah Leng, TSP and Kacang. Kam the very siah.... I had not try the chocolate and organic biscuit TSP gave me...the chocolate look nice..feel reluctant to eat it. But i had eaten Ah Leng eh butter cookies. Really nice...my sister oso say nice. But for me each time can take one piece cos take a few pieces continuosly , will be very sweet. Anyway, it is really nice.

Not forgetting my Yugata all the way from Japan.I tumpang a space in Kacang luggage for this yugata. Thanks kacang. Unfortunately, i can't take picture of me wearing this yugata yet cos i dunno how to wear.........hahahhaha. Must ask kacang to teach me first.

3rd Day of Lunar New Year- 9th Feb 2008

Today is the last day for Taugeh in Penang. We met up again in Queensbay Mall. Other members were Ah Tox, Atupek, TSP, Ah Tox Soh and my hubby. We had lunch at Red Bull/Taiwan Bull Or Taiwan Red Bull...aiyah i forgotten the shop name. Ah Tox came up with many ideas and options for taugeh not to go back Klang. And Taugeh nearly past the time to check-in. But luckily he make it........ Did not take pictures for this gathering.... Anyway it was fun, cos Ah Tox is always full of jokes and his funny ideas.

13th Oct 2007

Today is Hari Raya and the day for PGHK Prai gathering. I asked Taugeh to give me a call if he is in town in the afternoon because i am afraid that i can't meet him up in Prai.

Around 12 something (noon) he sms me that he will be having lunch in New World Park with Ah Leng, Ang Ku Kueh and Uncle Joe. Since my cousin is visiting the saloon nearby, so i ask him to drop me off in New World Park. I reach there quite early, and i am surprised to see that Shirley and Ken is there too. Beads Zone is participating in the weekend flea market. Shirley was suprise to see me too and asked me to help her display the products.

Later when the guys arrived we gather at Old Town...makan-makan and chit- chat...Uncle Joe is very humourous. Uncle Joe mention that i am diferent from online more shu boon and quiet.. i know i am not good in socialising...... mostly ppl see me first time will say me lansi...but you say me shu boon so i improve a bit liao.......maybe i attend few more gathering i will get use to it then can siao together. Xiao Kia join us later in old town..........then Uncle Joe offer me ride to the Prai gathering. i didnt took any pictures at the old town gathering cos my camera out of batt.
