My X'mas celebration....

This year x'mas celebration was a lill busy.... I celebrated from 24th-27th . On the 24th i met up with my high school mates in a newly open irish pub in Tanjung Tokong. I had forgotten the name of the pub. The pub was not really crowded and they only had a simple countdown nothing grand... They didn't even give away party packc. No pictures for this countdown cos i didn't bring my camera along. The pictures was in my friend's camera.

On the 25th, I went last minutes shopping with Winnie, to get x'mas gift to xchange on boxing day. Then at night i had dinner with my family. My aunt and sis cook fish and chips and baked spaggetti.

The next day on the 26th, met up with my buddies to xchange gifts and dining. We were suppose to dine in Sire Museum but our buddy Melissa was in Tanjung Bungah, so we change our destination to Vintage Bulgarian.

The environment was not bad. They did not served ala-carte on that day. So we had to settled for the course meal. We ordered 3 sets instead of 4 bcos me and Melissa not really hungry. And we did the right choice for ordering 3 sets, cos the portion were quite big. First the appetizer:

And dessert we had the chocolate moist cake:While waiting for the food to be served. We xchange gifts. I draw Winnie's gifts- a mausi (mouse)And Calynn draw my gifts- a parfume....And of cos we camwhore a bit oso..... but lazy to post up the photo here... but you can check out my facebook... Last but not least the group photo.Well, the night does not end here. We went to QEII after that. Since it's Ms Behave night. The exotic show started late that night. The hunky guys was dancing on the stage and walking around to take pictures with us the ladies. Hunky Santa

Of cos i wouldn't miss this opportunity and pose with one of the guys... ( lets hope hubby not reading this...ahahahha)

Tha's all for boxing day. The next day, on the 27th. I had a kenduri to attend in Alor Setar. One of my breakfast and sleeping kaki back in high school was engaged.

Dear Nurita and I

Why i called her one of my breakfast and sleeping kaki? Well back in high school, me, Nurita and Winnie reach school really early. We would take a nap, on the canteen table then we will have breakfast together. I never seen her since we left school. It was great to see her again and she was still the 38 girl i used to know. And i met other school mates in the kenduri too.

That was my x'mas celebration for this year. And i've been wearing my New year clothes on these 3 days... wakakaka... So i dun have anymore new clothes on Chinese New Year ler...... :(

Monday Surprise!

I woke up this morning and i saw this in the living room....

At first i tot, "someone" put her rubbish at my house again. If it was her rubbish, this time i will not give in la...i will ask - Sari ( maid) to move that box back to her house. So i confirmed with my grandma whose stuff is that? My grandma said my sis sent it back!

My sis currently in KL. She was temporary transfer to KL branch for 2-3 months. And last week she went to Bangkok, Hong Kong and Shen Zhen to assist in a seminar. I guess this box consist of the souvenirs for us in Penang.

The box was already open. It was obvious that "someone" had open it... I dunno she asked permission or not. Usually if it was my sis stuff, must ask permission lo if not sure kena "kau-kau"! Since it was already open....i take a look...

Inside the box consist of multiple plastic bags with a stick-on-notes noting that this pack for who and what izzit for.... Then i saw a big note!

We miss you too, Sis!

My sis bought a T-shirt and key chain for me...

Whether it is imitated kah or rejected ...it is ok...cos i'm loving it!

I called up my sis to say thank you. And i only managed to say thank you cos she told me she couldn't talk anymore so i hang up! Sigh! Hopefully she come back soon...so i can irritate her again! lol....

Mothers' Day Gift

Last week my division manager gave me a task to think of a promotion during mothers' day. So i was searching the net, for some ideas...

Nowadays business its not so good, so my boss not willing to dig out any money for any marketing campaign and he wan us to came up with a marketing campaign that he didn't had to dig out a single cents. That really crack our heads...... actually that was not part of my job...but my colleague mention that i had an incredible minds full with ideas......(aiseh) so they often ask for my opinions or ideas...

When searching online for some ideas...i came across an online flower shop...I told my "ah head" ... that most gifts for women are associated with flowers and chocolates ( this are for the budgeted 1 la..... expensive one would be DIAMOND).... Then i came out with this idea, gifts basket which will consist of flowers and a set of jewellery. Since my boss didnt wan to spend a single cents....i thought maybe we could find a flower shop to cooperate with us.... But i only got one week to find the flower shop and discuss the terms and conditions...I guess i had to think of another promotions and delay this project for future celebrations like birthday, Teachers' Day, Valentines' day and etc...so i told Fenn- our marketing exec...that I will propose this to my boss, and if he agree then she will need to find a suitable flower shop.

I didnt plan to propose this project myself as i dun wan to let my boss say i am overlapping other others job. But today when i was checking our company email... and i saw thisBird Nest & Chocolate Bouquet!

Bird Nest oso can be package into bouquet...... If i am not mistaken the price is RM 188.... If my mum still alive i will buy this for her........... The person that thought of this Bird Nest Bouquet was one of my boss's friend. My boss told me this guy alwis had the best ideas........

So you guys, get anything for your mum yet? If not, why don't you get this special bouquet!

Gifts from Taiwan & Hong Kong

My aunt & sis bought some stuffs for me from Taiwan & Hong Kong. And i'm loving it all.Flats...i love shoes...... especially flats.....

This one i asked her to buy...i know we can get it here but i wan something more obvious but my sis didn't heard me. And she bought this for me which is alright too, cos i lost mine in the previous photo shoot. When i told my sis about these faux lash, she told me she don't need one. Hers is natural. Then when she came back i saw her buying a few. She told me every girls Taiwan was using it...

I was browsing at a online catalogue one day b4 my sis came back. And i saw this piece:Which i find it interesting and considering to buy it....but i seldom buy clothes that i never try first especially dress like this...... And to my suprise they bought this for me...They say it was the latest fashion in Taiwan. So she bought this for me and oso this.

And Kenny Kor Kor bought this for me...............

So happy to received all these gifts. Oh, ya!they brought back a lot of food too. Will post it in the next entry.

Gift for my sista'- The Green Monster

My sister and my aunt are coming back today from their holiday in Taiwan, Hong Kong & Macau. My sis birthday fall on 17th Mac- St Patrick Day. And this year she was in Taiwan on her b'day. I'm sure she will have memorable birthday there.My sis camwhoring with a piece of crab

I dunno what to get for her. Then the other day when i went to Tesco i saw CJ7 soft toys at living cabin. But that time it was quite late the shop had closed. I think this CJ7 e.t is perfect for her cos it in green colour and its fury. My sis loves green and her nickname was MOMO.

So i went to Tesco just now, to get the gift. Unfortunately, when i reached there i didn't see a sign of the toy. Not even one. I asked the cashier, she told me it was out of stock. Wow! so "laku" meh? I guess i had to get else where but not today cos it raining and hubby its tired.

I wanted to get a cake, but i don't trust the bakery in Tesco. So i bought this instead.
I know, i know...J & CO is thousand times better than Missy Donuts...that what my sis said. But we dun J & Co in Penang. So replace it with Missy Donuts lo.

Back home i took out the handmade card i bought few months back.

i love this card. It is very simple and had nice colour. I think my sister would love it too, since she like green so much. I did a little touch-up on the card to make it more personalized.Done!

They will be back anytime from now. Can't wait to see what they bought.........for me... haha..... Of cos i miss my sis too... I miss irritating her. I love to irritate my sis, that is one of the way to brush away my boring time...akekeke...

Wedding Gift

The other day i received wedding invitation from my colleague. Too bad i won't be able to attend and celebrate with her this special day.

I've been thinking to buy her a gift. But not sure of what to buy... Finally i decided on photo album. They surely will take lots of photos and will need a place to store these memories.

The other day i bought an album from the wholesale in bw. They only have baby album for sales but i thought i could buy it and modify. The album was actually for myself ...wanna start my own scrapbook. Since i plan to buy an album for my colleague...i might as well use this album first and modified it to a Wedding Album.......

I took 2 hours to finish these........

Hubby's birthday gift...

Birthday Gifts.....

I never had a problem getting a gift for my friends and family........as i always had the idea of what to buy and i love buying gifts........ This month Sept, i need to get 3 birthday gifts. For my best bud-Ah B B, my cousin- Chiu Yang, and my aunt Michelle. Since hubby's birthday is next month , so i plan to get him a gift too. Been thinking of what to buy, then i decided to buy Ah B B a pouch for her new hp and the oso a small pouch for my aunt Michelle, a vcd for Chiu Yang and a jacket for hubby. I think Prangin Mall is the perfect place for all these gifts. So, i asked my sis whether wanna go shopping today as she still on mc (but can join me for shopping) and she say ok. And we ended up to Queensbay Mall instead.

So off to Queensbay Mall, my first stop is "Nice Day" because i know they got great variety for the hp pouch. I bought this for Ah B B:And this for aunt Michelle:

Actually, i choose purple colour for the pouch but my sis wanted purple too, so i get my aunt a pink one. And i bought two wrapping paper to wrap the present i bought:

Unistar was jus next to Nice Day, so i went over to say "Hi" to my Vincy Dearie........ I saw nice T-Shirt of Baby Milo in Unistar. So i change my plan instead of jacket, i will get hubby the Baby Milo T-Shirt. i choose a pants for him too and oso a Baby Milo t-shirt for myself....I didnt bring enough cash so i asked Vincy to save for me. Will pick it up on Sunday.......I like the T-Shirts and i love Baby Milo........will take the pic when i get the T-Shirt on sunday...hehe

Ok.....makan time..........my sis treat me to DRAGON-i. We ordered:

i dunno what this called but the filling is a prawn.........the prawns are very fresh.....
Fried Carrot Cake with shrimps or better known as Char Koay Kak but this Char Koay Kak cost RM 10 leh..Steam Rice.....delicious....................

The food are expensive but worth it cos all the food we ordered are deliciouslly yummy....... After eating, we walk around try on few clothes but not suitable so didnt buy anything.......and is getting late so we head straight to lower ground to get my cousin sushi and some breads for tomorrow breakfast. I did not get Chiu Yang present yet, bcos i dunno Hong Kong Video is on which floor but nvm i will get it later in Prangin Mall.

Back home, i wrapped the presents for Ah B B and aunt Michelle:

see how nicely i wrapped the presents......lol.... And the gift tag are recycled by a clothing label....

There's a hole in my pocket now.
